Happy Pride!!!!!

What an exciting month it has been, all the cities buzzing about their  own Pride parades, demonstrations and marches. All while creating a loving atmosphere for all to enjoy hosted by some of the biggest companies in the world.  While Em and I got to experience our first L.A. pride I noticed some pretty big differences between how we show pride in the South vs. the West Coast. Fun was had through and through, visiting with friends and meeting new ones along the way!  We have come such a long way since I was a kid in terms of how we are able to feel free and comfortable no matter who or how we love!
If you have checked out our Facebook page Shugawooks - Home | Facebook  you know that we enjoy donating a portion of our proceeds to organizations that we truly believe in, such as Honor The Earth.
This month we decided to donate 20% of our proceeds to The Trevor Project — Saving Young LGBTQ Lives this organization is very near and dear to our hearts and we truly value all of the efforts to support our LGBTQ youth.  Please consider donating to this amazing organization.

On the Home Front

As some of you may know the past few months were a bit more hectic than our normal Van-Life experience, with a pretty hefty festival line up and Em having to overcome a broken Calcaneus (heel bone) for 8 weeks, we were forced to play along.  Emily is truly one of the strongest women I've honestly ever known and I am so incredibly awe struck by her will power to over come this injury unscathed.  In the past few months we were still able to partake in our Harm Reduction Journey on a pretty good run of shows including Beyond Wonderland, Lucidity Gathering, Lightning in a Bottle and the almighty EDC Las Vegas!!

We’ve recently decided to hit the landing gear a bit while recharging our personal needs and working on some goals that have been put to the side.  We are incredibly excited for this new venture in a home without wheels but it is much needed and well deserved.

Working in Harm Reduction is such a rewarding experience to be a part of, in today's large scale music festivals it is becoming more and more clear just how necessary this service is needed among the youth.  While most go to enjoy the experience of being with friends and like minded peers, unfortunately some use it as an escape from reality. This is exactly the reason we continue to strive to be a productive and forthcoming company.  The funds we receive go directly back into our community to help teach and bring awareness to our festival family.

Please continue to support our efforts by purchasing our handcrafted art and jewelry that we make with all the love and power we possess by visiting our shop The Shugawooks Shop.  Thank you for helping us share our light and love throughout the universe.  Please use #thankyou for 20% off your next purchase.

Stay tuned for next weeks Blog about our re-entry into domesticated life lol!
